Blake Island is a nature-lover’s paradise, located just north of Vashon Island. Accessible only by boat, this 475-acre island is a popular destination for outdoor enthusiasts. Visitors can hike through the island’s lush foliage and old-growth forest on one of the many scenic trails, each offering views of the surrounding waters and mountains. Biking is also a popular activity, as well as clam-digging, scuba diving, bird-watching, and fishing.

The island is dotted with idyllic beaches that provide a relaxing ambiance for a picnic lunch or simply taking in the beauty of nature. For those wishing to stay overnight, there are 44 campsites available. Camping under the star-filled sky is a must-have experience on this island.
