Description

The Frye Art Museum opened in Seattle in 1952. Its emphasis is on painting and sculpture from the nineteenth century to the present, featuring artists such as Eugene Boudin, William-Adolphe Bouguereau, Felix Ziem, Eugene Isabey, and others. Admission is free, and both public and private tours are available. Frye also offers a wide range of educational art programs.
