Naval Undersea Museum
Located in the town of Keyport on the Kitsap Peninsula, the Naval Undersea Museum is one of ten official U.S. Navy museums around the country, and the only one that focuses on the Navy’s undersea technology and weaponry. Over 39,000 artifacts are housed at the museum’s facilities, including everything from torpedoes and undersea mines, to diving equipment, submersibles, and so much more. Fascinating permanent exhibits cover mine warfare, submariner rescue, submarines in WWII, Navy diving helmets, and torpedo technology. Military buffs will not want to miss this West Sound treasure!
