New Dungeness Lighthouse
Over a century and a half old, the New Dungeness Lighthouse is located at the end of a 6-mile long sandspit north of Sequim, in the Dungeness Wildlife Refuge. The refuge is home to 250 species of birds, forty-one species of land mammals, and eight species of marine mammals. Grab your walking shoes or your boat, though, because you can’t drive out to this one! Tours are available daily and are free, but it’s a 4-1/2 mile beach walk out to the lighthouse. Check the website for more details.
