Rhododendron Species Botanical Garden
Home to one of the largest collections of species rhododendrons in the world, the 22-acre Rhododendron Species Botanical Garden in Federal Way displays over 700 of the more than 1,000 species found in the wilds of North America, Europe, and Asia, as well as the tropical regions of southeast Asia and northern Australia. Stroll through the gardens on a self-guided tour, check out the other-worldly ferny stumps in the Victorian Stumpery, view tropical species of rhododendrons set alongside waterfalls and streams in the Rutherford Conservatory, and take part in special events throughout the year.
