USS Turner Joy
Explore a piece of maritime and naval history on the USS Turner Joy (DD-951), a naval destroyer turned museum ship, moored in Bremerton, Washington. Commissioned in 1959, the USS Turner Joy spent her entire career in the Pacific, and participated extensively in the Vietnam War. She was the first ship to see action in Vietnam and the last ship to fire its guns to signal the end of that war. Explore the Pacific Northwest’s naval heritage by stepping aboard the USS Turner Joy, the only retired United States Navy Ship in the state of Washington that is open to the public for tours all year.
